The following is the Jamaica Christian Mission "Top Ten Needs" List. Approximate costs in U.S. dollars is noted where applicable. Please take the time to review this list. There may be an item that you, your Congregation, Sunday School class, Youth Group, or your VBS program could make available for the mission.

1. Land Fund

6. A chain saw. Approx. cost US$250 We could use a used saw in good condition.
7. Bibles. KJV, NIV, hardback, paperback.
8. Suits for the preachers. Approx. cost US$200
9. Office chairs. Approx. cost US$100 each
10. Tent to cover outdoor stage area. cost us$500


Prayer Needs of the Jamaica Christian Mission   (return to top)

1. Please pray for the Jamaican Evangelists as they travel throughout the island with the Gospel. They are in need of your support: $400 per month places one of our college students in full-time work.

2. Pray for the camp program as we train leaders for the church of tomorrow. Pray that mission teams from the US will head to Kingston this summer to help with these programs.

3. Pray for the Adult Retreat as we encourage leaders in the congregations.

4. Pray for Jamaica Bible Seminary.

5. Pray for the Youth Jamboree as we lead our young people into a closer walk with the Lord.

6. Pray for the full-time staff of the mission.

7. Pray for the work of the Johnson Family as they strive to establish new congregations across the island.

8. Pray for the various work teams who travel to the island for camp, VBS programs and work projects.

9. Please pray about including Jamaica Christian Misson in your long-term financial planning, and your will.

10. Please pray for the American Advisory Board, and the decisions they must continue to make regarding the work of Jamaica Christian Mission.

Praises:

With the additional computers in the Mission House, an electrician was brought in to update the wiring and the junction boxes to provide for needed cool air. Your help is needed to offset the cost of this upgrade.
