The 2007 Youth Convention, “Jesus Christ the Ultimate Choice,” took place on February 21st at the Knox Community College. Speakers included Brother Damion Fearon of May Pen and Brother Terry Johnson of Savanahlamar.
The song competition was a featured event with prizes of a keyboard, cordless mic, and CD player being awarded. Richmond took first place, with Braeton coming in second and Mineral Heights third.
Honours of recognition were given to two individuals for their contribution among the youth of the Churches of Christ. Brother Fetzroy Small of  Braeton and Sister Janice Mercy of the Mission were presented with plaques and citations were read.
A special offering was promoted prior to the convention. Churches were asked to bring $3000 (Jamaican) to the convention, and a total of $40,900 (Jamaican) was collected from fifteen churches. This special offering allowed the convention to be held at the venue. In addition, an offering of $27,648 (Jamaican) was collected.
Praise and worship was led by Brother Terry Johnson in the morning, and The Together Brothers in the afternoon.
